The car was donated by the Albuquerque Public Schools. They were the original owners. It has 130000 miles but runs great. I just got it back from the body shop when this pic was taken. I've since completed the interior. Including Federal Interceptor siren, GE Master II radio (It even works) and Custom Signals TR-6 radar. I got the car added to the department fleet as police unit "18C", that was the car number I was assigned when I came on the department in 1980. (1978 Dodge Monaco). We plan to use it for recruiting and parades. The car is like a magnet for people, they love to look at it and talk about the department. |
