This Ford was restored in 2006 to represent the
Chicago Police Department. It was restored as a traffic-division
unit. These traffic cars received a larger engine than the typical
patrol car and had the accessory rear lights, which functioned with
the brake and taillights. The Traffic Division cars were 5000-series
numbered vehicles, and usually had radar. Many thanks to Greg
Reynolds and Dave Sechrest for their assistance in this restoration.
